Romain is co-founder and Managing Director of Standing Ovation, one of the very few precisions fermentation foodtech start-ups having cracked the production of animal-free casein. He was previously Head of Metabolic Engineering at Global Bioener-gies for 14 years, managing 5 research groups. Romain successfully contributed to the production of the first bio-based fuel and participated to multi-ple fundraising leading to the construction of 2 pilot plants in France and Germany. Romain holds a Double Degree from top-tier French universities (Scientific Master and PhD with the Pasteur Insti-tute).
