Hakeem is a Vegan entrepreneur and co-founder of Veg-gieVictory - Nigeria's first plant-based food company. He is 51 years old with a Nigerian-German background and holds a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Hamburg. Hakeem ventured into corporate PR before starting VeggieVictory in 2013, which was a vegan restau-rant in the beginning. Today, VeggieVictory is a full-fledged vegan company offering 100% plant-based, high protein products with Africa at heart. Since May 2023, Ha-keem also leads the new ProVeg country office in Nigeria being the eleventh ProVeg country globally and second one on the African continent. Hakeem is married and has three children.
