Annemarie is team leader of the team Climate Resilience at Wageningen Environmental Research. She has more than 25 years of experience in climate change adaptation, sustainable food production and natural resources management in Europe, Africa and Asia. Currently, her research focusses on climate resilient food systems and climate information services. She participates in the Climate Resilient Agribusiness for Tomorrow (CRAFT) project that aims to increase the adoption of climate smart agriculture practices and technologies among smallholder farmers (SHFs), SMEs and cooperatives. She has published scientific papers on climate smart agriculture, business cases supporting scaling of climate smart agriculture and user oriented climate services.
