Dr. Juha Nousiainen, Senior Vice President, Valio's Climate programme, has a more than 35 years of working experience within European dairy business. He is specialized in the primary milk production including crop production and silage making, feed evaluation, nutritional management of dairy cows, milk quality and composition, and modeling of milk production. He also has expertise of system and meta-analysis and environmental effects of milk production. The title of his doctoral dissertation was Development of tools for the nutritional management of dairy cows on silage-based diets. He has published over 40 publications in peer-reviewed scientific international journals.
