Dr. Thibault Godard
Co-founder and Chief Science Officer
Dr. Thibault Godard was born in France. In 2010, he earned two master's degrees in chemical engineering at the Université de Technologie de Compiègne and at the Technical University of Braunschweig. In 2015 he did his PhD in biotechnology. For several years he worked at Ohly, one of the largest producers of yeast extract. As a researcher and process engineer, he was responsible for optimizing fermentation processes and advancing new products to industrial production scale. Today, Thibault runs his own lab with a team of international experts. They continuously achieve new breakthroughs in researching fungi strains, harnessing food waste, and optimizing fermentation processes.
