Dave drives the Global Sustainable Innovation strategy and revamps the pipeline of Diageo’s new technologies, packaging, business models and novel formats, with the aim of propelling Diageo’s future carbon, energy and water strategy towards 2030 ESG targets and beyond. He has more than 17 years’ experience combining leadership skills with a highly technical background across key areas of sustainability in the consumer goods industry. Prior to joining Diageo, Dave was International Research & Sustainable Innovation Director at L'Oréal with a broad scope encompassing all the Emerging Markets (LATAM, Africa, Southeast Asia). He previously also led the sustainability strategy for the Packaging and Speciality Plastics business at Dow Chemical and has also worked for P&G and FIAT leading sustainable innovation projects for the EMEA region. Dave holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Birmingham.
