Marco Garcia (MSc) joined Aidenvironment in October 2018. For the last three years previous to Aidenvironment, he worked as an independent consultant in both surface and subsurface water projects. He has worked for different organizations such as UNESCO-IGRAC, the Environmental Agency of Abu Dhabi, the Netherlands National IHP-HWRP Committee Secretary, South Pole Group, and other independent consultants. Marco is currently involved in the Realtime Deforestation Monitoring System, Chain Reaction Research, Corporate Transformation in Indonesia’s Pulp and Paper sector, among others. He is responsible for the data processing of the reports, filtering and analyzing land-use and deforestation data obtained via satellite imagery.
