Márcio has been the Director of Corporate Sustainability at JBS in Brazil since 2012. He has over 20 years of professional experience in sustainability and corporate affairs, including executive positions in global food companies, agricultural trading companies and Brazil major agribusiness industry associations. His focus has been on the development and management of corporate sustainability strategies, sustainable agriculture, responsible sourcing of raw material and supply chain management. He is currently involved in JBS "Net Zero 2040" project, a long-term strategy to promote the company's transition to a low carbon economy.
Márcio will be part of the panel discussion on "Towards low impact meat and dairy" on Day 2.
