Sarah is a Nutrition Scientist at the British Nutrition Foundation, where she joined the Science team after completing a BSc in Nutrition from the University of Surrey in 2009. As part of her degree, she spent a professional training year working in the nutrition team at Unilever. At BNF, Sarah was Technical Editor and Secretariat of BNF’s 2019 Task Force report Cardiovascular Disease: Diet, Nutrition and Emerging Risk Factors, 2nd Edition, and co-authored one of the chapters of this report. Sarah also conducts horizon scanning activities, writes articles for a variety of audiences as well as social media content and provides expert quotes for the media. Sarah provides technical editing support for BNF’s journal Nutrition Bulletin and reviews and develops BNF website content.
