Ida has been working at Nofima since 2008, a leading institute for applied research within the fields of fisheries, aquaculture and food research. Her academic background is in Public Health and Nutrition. Her research is on personalized food, elderly, sustainability and innovation, especially connected to Design thinking. She has extensive knowledge in the field of nutrition and public health where research, industry and government collaborate for a better diet in the population. She is also a member of the Norwegian Salt Partnership steering group and is also linked to the University of Oslo as an Assistant Professor in nutrition at the Faculty of Dentistry.
